Introduction

Purpose

This manual provides instructions for the installation of an External Filter option. Depending

on the type of filters installed, this option will provide protection against particulates and

water. The adapter in this kit incorporates a special groove design that is required when used

with a blue cold weather gasket.

This kit contains parts for the following models.

Kit Number Filter Type Pump Model

032753 Hydro (particulate and water)

216A, 9510 and 9850A

032752 Standard (particulate only)

Installation of the Kit

Required Tools

The following tools are required for the installation of the kit:

• Two pipe wrenches

•UL

-classified gas and oil resistant pipe compound

Required Reading

The installer must read and understand all instructions, safety warnings and precautions before

beginning. The installer must also be familiar with:

• This manual

• NFPA 30A, The Automotive and Marine Service Station Code

• NFPA 70, The National Electric Code

• Applicable Federal, State and Local codes and regulations

Failure to do so may adversely affect the safe use and operation of the equipment.

Note: This kit must be installed by a Gasboy Authorized Service Contractor (ASC) to ensure

warranty.
